ROSEN USA, Inc. based in Houston, TX seeks to employ a Project Manager to manage awarded in-line inspection surveys from inception to completion.
The Project Manager will work closely with members of multiple departments and will perform the following:
• Work in close cooperation with the Sales Manager and Operations Management team to review and validate commercial, technical, and contractual requirements for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, client expectations, and operational capabilities.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of NDT and Asset Integrity projects, including conventional Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), corrosion mapping, in-service inspection programs, pipeline integrity support, tank inspections, structural integrity assessments, and facility integrity programs.
• Coordinate API inspection projects and qualified personnel supporting API 510 pressure vessel inspections, API 570 piping inspections, API 653 aboveground storage tank inspections, API 580/581 risk-based inspection programs, API 579 fitness-for-service assessments, and mechanical integrity programs.
• Collaborate with Resource Coordinators, Operations Supervisors, and Department Managers to identify and allocate qualified personnel, equipment, and technical resources required for successful project execution.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, providing clear communication regarding project status, schedules, deliverables, risks, and changes to scope.
• Advise Sales and Operations Leadership of client-requested changes, technical challenges, risks, and opportunities that may affect project cost, schedule, safety, quality, or profitability.
• Work directly with clients to define inspection objectives, testing methodologies, acceptance criteria, data-handling requirements, reporting expectations, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed project execution plans covering staffing, equipment preparation and mobilization, certifications, procedures, safety requirements, quality controls, and reporting timelines.
• Coordinate the preparation, calibration, maintenance, and deployment of NDT equipment, and verify that all required project documentation is complete before mobilization.
• Monitor project progress and maintain regular communication with field personnel, inspectors, technicians, supervisors, and coordinators to proactively address operational challenges, resource constraints, and schedule deviations.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable client requirements, approved procedures, organizational policies, and relevant industry codes and standards.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor utilization, equipment and material costs, subcontractor expenses, change orders, invoicing support, revenue recognition, and project margin performance.
• Review and approve technical reports, inspection findings, recommendations, and final client deliverables for accuracy, completeness, quality, and compliance.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture through compliance with organizational policies, client requirements, and industry best practices.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, service expansion, and operational efficiency to support the growth of NDT, Asset Integrity, and API service offerings.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
• Support the mentoring and development of NDT technicians, inspectors, and project personnel to strengthen organizational capability and future leadership within the department.
