ROSEN is looking for a Shop Operations Intern that will be based in Houston, Texas. This position reports directly to the Head of Shop Operations and will be a part of the Shop Operations team.
What role you will play in our team
This internship offers hands-on experience and business exposure over a 12-week program. Interns will work alongside the Tool Coordinator to review client requirements, verify tool assembly specifications, recommend alternative tools as needed, and assist with parts ordering and tool preparation.
What will I be doing?
• Receive on-the-job training, experiences, and project assignments
• Participate in an orientation program for interns
• Be provided with a list of learning goals to complete during the internship
• Attend regularly scheduled training sessions
• Have opportunities to meet and interact with organizational leadership
• Take part in ongoing coaching and mentorship conversations
• Present on assigned projects during the internship program
• Be invited to social and networking activities with fellow interns
• Receive an overall evaluation at the conclusion of the internship
What are we looking for?
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering
• Available to work an office schedule from 7am – 4pm for 12 continuous weeks (May - August)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel and Outlook

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work in external environment with extreme heat or cold temperatures.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs. from a start height of 9 inches to and end height of 36 inches from the floor up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from a start height of 9 inches to an end height of 36 inches from the floor up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. from a start height of 9 inches to an end height of 63.5 inches from the floor up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. from a start height of knees to an end height of waist from the floor up to 6 times per hour.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from a start height of 0 inches to an end height of 20 inches from the floor up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to push/pull with a force up to 65 lbs. a distance of 3 feet up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to push/pull with a force up to 30 lbs. a distance of 100 feet up to 1 time per hour.
• Must be able to assume repetitive squatting at a height of 20 inches from the floor or wall up to 5 times per hour.
