ROSEN is looking for an IT Service Engineer that will be based in Houston.  This position reports directly to the Head of IT and will be a part of the IT team.  
 
What role you will play in our team
The IT Service Engineer deploys, configures, maintains and monitors IT Systems, Network, Hardware and Software in order to ensure proper operation. Additionally, the IT Service Engineer is involved in complex projects and delivers 1st and 2nd level support. You will work in a global IT team which is aligned to the ISO27001 standard.
 

Responsibilities:

What will I be doing?
•    Installation, (secure) configuration, maintenance and update of IT Systems, Hardware, network and/or Software
•    Identification of vulnerabilities and installation of patches
•    Create and provide documentations
•    Knowledge of IT& IT-Security guidelines and policies and acting respectively
•    Self-education and training on existing applications and new technologies, incl. IT-Security
•    Ensuring compliance with ISO27001 standards
•    Play a leading role in project implementation
•    1st+ 2nd level support in case of IT problems
•    Implementation of new IT services
•    Working in different projects which are related to local owned datacenters 

REQUIREMENTS

What are we looking for?
•    Completed IT training or IT certifications 
    o    CCNA, CompTIA, ITILv4, HPE Aruba, etc.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience working in IT

Qualification or Skills:

•    Strong teamwork and communication skills
•    Experience with Windows Server and client administration
•    Excellent English communication skills (Written and spoken), other languages will be a plus
•    Willingness to travel including local, domestic and international (including extended flights)
•    Self-motivated, pro-active individual who is able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
