ROSEN is looking for a Head of Procurement Americas that will be based in Houston, TX.  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Collaboration and will be a part of the Corporate Procurement team.

What role you will play in our team

 

The Head of Procurement, Americas develops and ensures the execution of overall procurement strategy that aligns with ROSEN business and operational needs across North and South America.


What will I be doing?


•    Responsible for Supplier strategy development and implementation in alignment with Head of Corporate Procurement within the area of responsibility and its scope, aligned to the broader  Corporate strategy
•    Responsible for achieving the key performance metrics: cost savings / cost avoidance, Working Capital improvement, Spend under Control, Supplier ESG Compliance, Supplier Taxonomy, supplier Quality Performance and Certifications sustainability and business continuity in supply etc.
•    Hire, manage and/or develop team members (as required) and ensure a regional Procurement network with a strong connection to the Regional Supply Chain management team 
•    Develop and disseminate best practices in procurement from inside and outside ROSEN across the responsible business region(s) to ensure effective and efficient processes and strategy fit
•    Divisional and cross-divisional procurement coordination and continuous improvement
•    Strongly support the implementation of new digitals Procurement / Purchase to Pay tools and continuous improvement of procurement processes and enable regional team members to support the regional business in the best possible way
•    Evaluating system requirements in the region in alignment with global Systems & Process team and co-create regional and local procurement guidelines 
•    Provide leadership to contract negotiations with national and regional vendors and develop and set up contracts (where appropriate)
•    Drive in close cooperation with the Corporate Category Managers, Supplier Optimization programs, focusing on maximizing our leverage and building strong supplier relationships, supported by mid or long term contracts
•    Evaluate and select suppliers in alignment with Corporate Category Management and the local general management team
•    Approve contracts according to corporate guidelines
•    Responsible for procurement related policies and procedures in compliance with corporate and external guidelines
•    Responsible for the alignment and management of the procurement department budgets within the Americas regions
•    Partner with Finance and Management to support budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking. 
 

REQUIREMENTS

What are we looking for?

 

•    10+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience, preferably with a services organization
•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, engineering or related field
•    Master’s in Supply Chain Management, engineering or related field (preferred) or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
•    6 – 8 years of people management
•    Strong financial acumen and experience in large-scale cost optimization initiatives
•    Demonstrated ability to build cross-function partnerships and influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organization. 
•    Experience with Procurement Digitalization Projects is preferred (P2O or P2P)
•    Proficient in the P2P process (strong knowledge preferred)
•    Bilingual English/ Spanish preferred
•    Ability to travel internationally 25%
•    Understanding of global procurement best practices
•    Advanced negotiation skills
•    Change management knowledge and skills
