ROSEN is looking for a Head of Finance, Americas that will be based in Houston, Texas.  This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be a part of the Finance team.  
 
What role you will play in our team:

The Head of Finance for the Americas is entrusted with financial leadership across the region, overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and tax compliance for multiple countries and legal entities. This senior leadership role serves as a strategic partner to regional management, driving informed business decisions, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and ensuring robust financial governance in alignment with global standards and Private Equity (PE) ownership. In addition to leading a geographically dispersed finance team, the Head of Finance is responsible for cultivating finance operations excellence, keeping strict regulatory compliance, and representing the region's interests to both corporate and regional leadership, and external stakeholders.
 

Responsibilities:

What will I be doing?

 

Leadership and Management
•    Act as the extension of Group Corporate Finance based in Europe, ensuring alignment of regional strategies, policies, and financial reporting with global standards and objectives.
•    Serve as a proactive, commercial, and insightful sparring partner to the Regional Management Team and business unit leaders, challenging assumptions, driving commercial decision-making, and evaluating investment proposals and business growth strategies.
•    Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse and geographically dispersed finance team across various locations in the Americas, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial Performance
•    Oversee the implementation and regular review of forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities to support business objectives and strategic priorities.
•    Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators across all regional entities, ensuring timely identification of trends, variances, and potential issues.
•    Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to regional leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making and targeted initiatives for growth and efficiency.

Governance and Compliance
•    Establish and maintain robust financial reporting processes to guarantee accuracy, transparency, and compliance with both corporate and local standards.
•    Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of all internal financial reports for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with Group Corporate Finance requirements and deadlines.
•    Coordinate and implement the group financial audit process for entities within the Americas, serving as the primary point of contact for local auditors and ensuring the provision of all required documentation and explanations
•    Supervise the preparation and submission of all required tax reports and filings in each country of operation, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and proactively addressing any tax-related issues or risks.

Internal Controls
•    As Head of Finance for the Americas, assume overall responsibility for establishing, maintaining, and continuously enhancing internal controls across all regional entities. 
•    Ensure the implementation of robust financial policies, reporting standards, and governance frameworks that align with Private Equity ownership requirements.
•    Drive standardization and continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation throughout the Americas region in alignment and strong collaboration with Corporate activities and guidelines.
 

REQUIREMENTS

What are we looking for?


•    Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. 
•    Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Finance, CFO, or Regional Finance Director) with multi-country/multi-site responsibility. 
•    Proven experience working effectively within a Private Equity (PE) owned environment is essential, with an understanding of PE reporting metrics, value creation drivers, and the pace required.

Qualification or Skills:

•    Strong, demonstrable experience operating in the US market, including in-depth knowledge of US financial regulations, tax, and business practices.
•    Experience working for a European-headquartered company and deep familiarity with the reporting structures, cultural nuances, and challenges inherent in an organization reporting to an overseas corporate office. 
•    Experience in the industrial services, technology, engineering, or energy sector is highly preferred.
•    Must be a collaborative leader who aligns seamlessly with the ROSEN Group's culture, demonstrating respect, integrity, a commitment to quality, and a hands-on, supportive approach to teamwork.
•    The ideal candidate must possess the ability to think and act strategically while maintaining the necessary detailed oversight and operational involvement to ensure the rigorous execution of all financial processes.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders, regional management, and European corporate leadership.
