Proposal Specialist - Temporary Maternity Assignment

Rosen Canada is currently seeking a qualified Proposal Specialist  (Temporary Maternity Assignment) that will last though February 2026) to join our Proposals and Contracts team in Calgary, Alberta. As a member of the Proposals & Contracts team, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain a flexible work schedule, and use independent judgement and reasoning.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize RFP proposals and deadlines and deliverables;
  • Create and maintain proposal templates;
  • Communicate effectively with Sales Managers and Business Line Management to ensure deliverables are consistent and timely;
  • Liaise effectively between all internal departments to gather required information for proposal submissions;
  • Track and prioritize Sales Managers proposal and contract requests;
  • Maintain and edit literature library and reference materials;
  • Review and evaluate requests for quotes and proposals;
  • Prepare proposals and quotes;
  • Attend and contribute to pre-bid meetings;
  • Maintain projects within internal software including acquisition and execution components;
  • Maintain an up to date understanding of the sales strategy;
  • Full access to inquiry details by client;
  • Access the required ROSEN databases and filing systems as required with regards to proposed product and services;
  • Contact applicable stakeholders for clarifications as required;
  • Cooperate with Commercial Leads on any commercial matters;
  • Interact with any operational personnel where clarifications are required;
  • Closely cooperate with Sales Manager(s) during the pre-bid review.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualification or Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years in an ILI (In-Line Inspection) industry and/or Oil & Gas environment is required;
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills are required;
  • Intermediate Microsoft skills (Word and Excel);
  • Advanced interpersonal and English written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong self-starter and ability to work with a Sales team and Business Line Managers effectively, in order to meet client deadlines;
  • Ability to contribute effectively within a fast paced team environment;
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing proposals are critical;
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and learn existing processes quickly and easily;
  • Consciousness for prompt completion of work tasks (sense of urgency for client deadlines);
  • Demonstrated consistent work history and commitment level;
  • Adapt to frequently changing schedules and tight timelines;
  • Excellent customer relations skills;
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
