ROSEN is looking for a Field Service Preparation Technician that will be based in Calgary, Alberta. This position reports directly to the Head of Field Operations and will be a part of the Field Operations team.
What will I be doing?
• The Field Service Preparation Technician plans, directs and coordinates all project related in-line inspection equipment for Field Service Technicians to include non-standard items such as hydraulic pumps, launching and receiving equipment and tethering applications.
• Responsible for auditing personnel and equipment prior to mobilization and upon their return to the office in accordance with ROSEN’s procedures for Field Service Technicians.
• Responsible for monitoring and auditing onsite shipments and monitoring onsite purchases for the survey process.
• The Field Service Preparation Technician will work closely with the Project Manager to discuss client requirements such as, field service technician level, knowledge, and equipment necessary for the inspection survey.
• The Field Service Preparation Technician will work closely with the Logistics department to allocate and obtain the required equipment for the inspection survey.
• Responsible for auditing in-line inspection tools and equipment prior to mobilization and upon return. Report any damages or findings.
• Responsible for auditing and loading/unloading of the tool and other equipment to ensure proper loading and strapping according to ROSEN’S HSE and Maintenance department requirements.
• Prepare analysis and periodic management and operational reports to the Field Service Manager
• Validating outgoing tools and equipment by reviewing for completeness and accuracy
• Other duties as required
Required Skill Set & Requirements
• Must have valid work authorization in Canada.
• 2+ years’ experience in a field services environment or in-line inspection/pipeline services industry.
• 1+ years’ experience in a lead or senior field service technician position.
• Level II certification or equivalent required.n.
• Excellent analytical, organization, written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal processes and departments.
• Ability to manage and supervise trainees and field service employees.
• Ability to learn complex technical information very quickly and multiply this information to field service employees.
• Successful completion of a drug screen test, background check and physical performance evaluation including a vision exam as applicable to the position
