Business Line Manager, Challenging Diagnostics

ROSEN is looking for a Business Line Manager, Challenging Pipelines Diagnostics that will be based in Calgary, Alberta.  
 

Responsibilities:

What will I be doing?

As the Business Line Manager, Challenging Pipelines Diagnostics, you will be responsible for the development of the inspection business as it relates to difficult to inspect pipelines, or unpiggables, in the CA Region. The person will be accountable for understanding the regional market, the threats pipeline operators face, and to build and execute a strategy to be successful with these operators.

Creativity in scoping of projects means this role will get to deploy all ROSEN technologies in order to achieve a good project result for our operator clients. From-scratch development of projects are common, including offshore scopes, urban inspections, and flow/pressure restrictions that need to be overcome.

The Regional Business Line role also supports the global Business Line Management with monitoring, guiding and improving individual project performance (time, cost, quality), and delivering the financial target within the CA Region. The BLM is key role in developing our sales plan, financial budget for the Business Line, and monthly/quarterly and annual planning for revenue and costs.
 

REQUIREMENTS

Required Skill Set & Requirements:
•    A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the pipeline industry or similar industry vertical
•    Bachelor’s Degree or above in an Engineering and/or Business discipline preferred
•    A strong background in business development and sales within asset integrity management and/or inspection. 
•    High level of expertise in the industry and high level of understanding of products and services relevant to difficult to inspect pipelines.
•    Must have valid work authorization in Canada.
 

Qualification or Skills:

•    Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
•    Strong influencer with good network of internal and external stakeholders in relevant markets.
•    Excellent knowledge of external market, competitors, clients and challenges.
•    Experience of delivering budgets and proactive P&L management.
